This year's TESOL Chile conference, "Winds of Change: Exploring New Directions in Language Learning," will be held at Universidad La Serena, October 5 - October 7.
Featuring plenary sessions by Diane Larsen-Freeman and Michael McCarthy as well as contributions by other noted authorities, the conference will focus on how new understandings of language and language learning are changing our ideas about the ways English should be taught and reshaping our classroom practices.
Proposals are invited for papers, panels, and workshops on topics related to the development and practice of teaching English as a foreign language (EFL). There is a special category for short (20-minute) reports from classroom teachers on classroom techniques, activities, and or/success stories.
To submit a proposal, please complete the on-line form at:
www.tesolchile.cl/windsofchange/callforpapers.php
The submission deadline is August 31.
Additional information about the conference venue and registration procedures will be e-mailed soon and will also be found at www.tesolchile.cl. Program details will be posted as they become available.
If you have any questions, or if you would like to work as a conference volunteer, please contact TESOL Chile at conference@tesolchile.net
