TESOL CHILE CONFERENCE: WINDS OF CHANGE

This year's TESOL Chile conference, "Winds of Change: Exploring New
Directions in Language Learning," will be held at Universidad La Serena, October 5 - October 7.

Featuring plenary sessions by Diane Larsen-Freeman and Michael McCarthy as
well as contributions by other noted authorities, the conference will focus on how new understandings of language and language learning are changing our ideas about the ways English should be taught and reshaping our classroom practices.

Proposals are invited for papers, panels, and workshops on topics related to
the development and practice of teaching English as a foreign language (EFL). There is a special category for short (20-minute) reports from classroom teachers on classroom techniques, activities, and or/success stories.
