The Seminar for English Teaching Professional Development aims at designing materials and exchanging ideas for teachers to develop as full professionals.
Our intention is to go beyond the formulas and recipes for good classes, and focus on the good teacher, by providing tools and strategies to nurture the professional dimension of teaching. Psychology, speech therapy, use of media and technology, management, language and culture, Neuro-Linguistic Programming ,literature, material design, research, translation, are just some examples of areas that enhance our professional role. Change is on the way, updating and diversifying are the answers.

Criteria for Selection
A selection will be made on the basis of the proposals, and feedback on reception and acceptance/refusal will be issued before September 1st . The criteria for selection includes
• Presenter: professional background and experience in research, publications and seminar presentations.
• Topic: suitability and adequacy to the expected audience and the Seminar’s aims.
Should you be selected, handouts must be submitted before September 15th, 2007.-

Docentes especialistas invitados/ as. Modalidad teórico –práctica con técnicas de grupo operativo y evaluación final.
Dirigido a docentes en actividad y alumnos/ as avanzadas de Profesorados universitarios y no universitarios, de todos los Departamentos académicos, en contexto de las normas legales nacionales y de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires.
Extensión de certificados – Carga horaria total 75 horas cátedra.
